Electrician - Wales

Craftsmanship

We’re accelerating the global transition to renewable energy and need skilled electricians to install our low-carbon technologies—EV charge points, air-source heat pumps and solar PV—across Wales.

What you’ll do

  • Install and commission Octopus low-carbon tech in customers’ homes to the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Deliver outstanding face-to-face service, acting as the first in-person representative of Octopus Energy.
  • Work closely with scheduling, technical support and customer-care teams to ensure every installation is smooth and right-first-time.
  • Continuously upskill at our R&D training centre, keeping pace with new products and regulations.

What you must have

  • 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671).
  • Part P / domestic installation qualification.
  • Initial Verification & Periodic Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent).
  • Proven safety record and customer-focused mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence with ≤ 6 penalty points.

Nice to have

  • EV charge-point or solar PV installation experience/certificates.
  • Heat-pump electrical training.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

  • £36,500 base salary (paid monthly).
