Commodity Manager - ESS & LVP

A Snapshot of Your Day Lead the Energy Storage System and Low Voltage Platform commodity by steering product reviews, benchmarking, supplier strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. Manage stakeholders, align with internal partners, adapt to market changes, develop key suppliers, and track emerging technologies. Ensure transparent communication across the commodity team, monitor KPIs, support project-specific deep dives, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen supply chain performance.How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement the commodity strategy, reinforcing the commodity team with support from other functions to ensure proactive engagement from the business.
• Capture business needs (cost, quality, lead time, capacity) in the strategy and provide regular feedback via KPIs.
• Guarantee suitable strategic supply options for all sourcing requirements, including dual/multiple sources.
• Collaborate with technology partners to incorporate latest technologies and cost-out activities into the commodity strategy.
• Manage key supplier relationships through face-to-face visits and business reviews covering contracts, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate framework and price agreements to ensure full contractual coverage with key suppliers.

What You Bring

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or similar; substantial experience may substitute formal education.
• Minimum 8 years in strategic purchasing roles with direct supplier contact.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven experience leading high-value negotiations.
• Cooperative, target-oriented mindset with ability to align teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of energy storage systems, batteries, assemblies, or outsourcing activities preferred.
• Team player who shares learnings and drives continuous improvement.
