Regional Sales Manager Northeast

Oatly is looking for a Regional Sales Manager Northeast to own retail sales across the Northeast U.S. You will drive sustainable revenue, expand market share and build lasting relationships with distributors, brokers and key retailers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive retail sales strategy for the Northeast in partnership with the VP, cross-functional teams, brokers and distributors
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with key retailers, brokers and distributor partners through consistent, effective communication
  • Set distribution targets, promotional calendars and trade-spend plans aligned with company guidelines and customer needs
  • Own accurate customer forecasts, distribution goals, profitability assessments and trade-spend KPIs
  • Manage customer-specific pricing, assortment and promotional plans; share insights on new-item launches, promo performance and strategic recommendations
  • Lead category reviews using syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) to create compelling, fact-based selling decks that secure distribution and innovation listings
  • Coordinate demand forecasts, shipment planning, promotional execution and shopper-marketing initiatives
  • Provide clear goals to brokers, conduct regular reviews and complete 1-2 in-person market visits per region annually
  • Represent Oatly at regional trade shows, customer events and internal trainings

Requirements:

  • 4+ years retail or key-account sales experience in U.S. CPG; calling on AHOLD, Market Basket, Wakefern and New York Metro distributors preferred
  • Reside in the Northeast near a major airport
  • Proven experience with multiple distribution models (direct, UNFI, KeHE, DPI) and broker management
  • Strong category-management skills; comfortable using syndicated data for fact-based selling
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; data-driven mindset
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal and virtual communication skills
  • Up to 50% travel
