Proposal Engineer

Your Day-to-Day

Support the global sales team with proposals, coordinate customer requests and provide technical guidance on Siemens Energy products focused on power generation projects. Operate within an international team of proposal engineers and liaise with various product units.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical and commercial support to sales for switchgear and transformers
• Design and size solutions; proficient in reading SLDs
• Prepare cost sheets, coordinate with sub-suppliers, review customer specifications
• Develop technical and commercial proposals and prepare project handover documentation
• Deliver tailored electrical solutions for marine, FPSO and industrial customers
• Attend technical meetings, assist engineering during project execution

Your Profile

• Strong expertise in complete electrical scope of onsite power plants
• Experienced with SLD and E-House electrical layout engineering
• Knowledge of DigSilent or ETAP is an advantage
• Several years of experience in technical pre-sales or sales support
• Customer focus, persuasive communication, proven proposal wins
• Team player, ability to multitask and work under pressure; marine or E-House experience preferred
