Country Security Manager

Your Day-to-Day
The Security Manager safeguards Siemens Energy personnel in HUB China and supports North Asia, providing operational assistance to the Global Function EHS, Quality Governance and Security (EQS). The role’s core responsibility is tactical and operational security support for our business in Taiwan, requiring frequent travel for site assessments, travel and project security, incident and crisis management, and coordination with local service providers, government bodies and Siemens Energy business units.
Your Impact
You will conduct risk assessments, define and coordinate mitigation measures, lead timely security investigations and align project and business activities with internal and external stakeholders. When not focused on Taiwan operations, you will contribute to the regional security organization in Hub China & North Asia, advising and implementing solutions on Security Compliance, Travel and Workplace Security, Asset Protection, Incident & Crisis Management and Business Continuity.
Your Profile
● Relevant academic degree or professional qualification from a recognized security authority, or equivalent security experience
● 10 years corporate security experience, including proven operational experience in Taiwan
● In-depth knowledge of Taiwan’s political and security landscape
● Strong customer orientation
● Willingness to travel extensively (>30 %)
● Ability to analyze and synthesize information from diverse sources
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a culturally diverse environment
● Fluency in English and Mandarin
● Proven ability to prioritize and manage workloads autonomously
● Resilience and availability outside standard working hours when required
● Demonstrated integrity and high personal standards of conduct
● Sensitivity to the needs of different religious, ethnic and cultural groups
