Non-Destructive Test (NDE) Technician

We are looking for a skilled NDE Field Service Technician who travels to power-plant sites across North and South America to perform non-destructive testing services.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare and deliver field-service jobs at domestic and international power-plant sites.
• Carry out field inspections in accordance with Siemens standards.
• Travel up to 75% of the year to power-plant projects worldwide.
• Support outage planning and production control by ensuring timely delivery of tools, personnel and inspection activities.
• Package and ship test equipment; develop and refine specialty tooling for field use.
• Provide on-site/off-site technical support for design, installation and maintenance of complex systems; communicate findings to global Siemens teams and customers.

What You Bring

• Training, experience and certification in at least four NDE methods (UT, ET, PT, MT, VT & RT).
• High-school diploma required; residence within one hour of a major airport.
• Self-driven, resourceful and able to meet goals independently and in teams.
• Flexibility to manage changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
• Eligibility to pass extended background checks for unescorted access to nuclear sites.
• U.S. work authorization without need for employer-sponsored visas.
