Product Manager HEMS & Energy

1KOMMA5° is building Europe’s leading energy-software platform, “Heartbeat AI”. We deliver turnkey solutions for PV, battery storage, heat pumps and EV chargers – sold, installed and optimized in one place. Our products improve system economics and help customers decarbonize homes, mobility and life today. With Heartbeat AI we strive to provide the cleanest, cheapest electricity worldwide.

We are hiring a Product Manager (m/f/d) to own the core B2C line around Heartbeat AI – HEMS, dynamic tariffs and flexibility. Work remotely or from our hubs in Berlin, Hamburg or Munich.

Your mission

• Define and deliver a global, customer-centric product vision for Heartbeat AI HEMS, energy tariffs and flexibility services.
• Optimize our portfolio: improve performance, margins and customer satisfaction through data-driven iterations and close collaboration with Engineering, Sales and Operations.
• Market analysis: evaluate opportunities across European energy markets, monitor regulation, technology trends and competition; translate insights into roadmap decisions.
• Site assessments: check regulatory requirements and grid conditions before international roll-out.
• Stakeholder management: represent customer and regulatory perspectives internally; coordinate grid operators, energy traders and hardware manufacturers.
• KPI control: define metrics, monitor product performance and uncover growth levers.
• Go-to-market: support pricing, positioning and launch campaigns together with Sales & Marketing.
• Partnerships: negotiate and nurture relationships with utilities, aggregators and technical service providers.

What you bring

• 3+ years in product management in the energy sector, ideally with HEMS, dynamic tariffs, VPPs or flexibility services.
• Deep knowledge of European energy markets, regulation and flexibility business models.
• Familiarity with IoT and smart-grid technologies (MQTT, APIs, OCPP, EEBus).
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English and German; confident with stakeholders from diverse cultures.
• Hands-on mentality, self-starter attitude and comfort in fast-changing environments.
