Your Day-to-Day:
As Project Manager for Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Systems, you will own Modernization & Upgrade projects end-to-end, translating complex technical scopes into safe, on-time and profitable delivery. Leading teams through PE@SE disciplines, you remain laser-focused on cost, risk and schedule while making EHS and compliance non-negotiable and continuously improving performance.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage Mods & Ups projects to achieve financial and commercial targets using Project Excellence @ Siemens Energy (PE@SE) standards.
- Ensure full compliance with standards and regulations; establish zero-harm EHS measures and verify regular compliance checks for the project team and subcontractors.
- Lead and develop cross-functional, multicultural teams to deliver complex technical solutions; guide, support and motivate members toward project and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement project/program solution plans, schedules, budgets, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocations for complex projects/programs.
- Drive continuous improvement, identify optimization or expansion opportunities and translate lessons learned into future projects.
- Monitor and forecast project performance (schedule, cost, quality, cash) through milestone reporting and reviews.
- Prepare commercial data for project status discussions (timeline, cost, quality, cash collection).
- Support order-entry, revenue, gross margin budgeting and forecasting for projects.
- Analyze and report information to project teams and management; identify margin and schedule risks and advance issue resolution.
What You Bring:
- Located in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Management or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of project management experience (additional experience may qualify for higher-level roles)
- Project Management certification required; IPMA certification a plus
- Experience managing small to medium-sized global, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in the oil & gas industry
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge advantageous
- Skilled in full-lifecycle project management (scheduling, budgeting, risk, change, opportunity, resources)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective liaison with global teams, stakeholders and customers
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; current Siemens Energy visa holders may be eligible for internal transfer
