Electrical Technician

Your day-to-day

You will provide technical support to the electrical department by carrying out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the availability and integrity of our customer's assets. You will report to the maintenance supervisor and be part of a multidisciplinary team.

How you’ll make an impact

• Execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programs according to current procedures, including inspection, repair and replacement of plant systems, equipment and components.
• Create and record maintenance plans in the relevant management system, generate monthly maintenance reports, failure reports, findings and information during plant shutdowns.
• Review work procedures and instructions, propose improvements and implement modifications as directed by the Engineering department. Request materials and supplies from the warehouse for job execution, following established procedures.
• Respond to plant emergencies 24/7 according to supervisor or group leader instructions, and analyse root causes of failures in the electrical and control area.
• Comply with and enforce Siemens Energy and customer internal standards as well as Quality, Safety and Environmental standards.

What you bring

• Student of Electrical or Electronic Engineering with maintenance profile, or Higher Technician in Industrial Maintenance / Instrumentation & Control Technician.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience in maintenance and plant shutdown programming in Thermal Power Plants or high-complexity industries.
• Proven knowledge of Windows, Office package, maintenance management software, MS Project or similar tools.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
• Results-oriented attitude, problem-solving under pressure, excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Intermediate level of English, both oral and written, with effective communication skills.
