Apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician (w/m/d) in Wind Energy

With 2,300 specialists, Deutsche Windtechnik is a leading service provider for maintenance, repair, upgrading and inspection of wind turbines. To strengthen our team we are looking for apprentices (f/m/d) as Mechatronics Technicians for wind turbines in Paderborn, starting 01 September 2026.

Your tasks:

• Assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of state-of-the-art wind turbines
• Hands-on application of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and control technology
• Active contribution to the energy transition

Your profile:

• Technical interest and enthusiasm for renewable energy
• Physical fitness and head for heights
• Good knowledge of mathematics and physics
• Minimum age 17, driving licence class B by second training year
• Willingness to travel nationwide

Training programme:

3.5-year dual apprenticeship with basic training at our workshop in northern Germany and practical deepening on wind turbines. Upon successful completion you additionally qualify as an electrician, authorised to carry out electrical work independently.
