As a Blade Repair Technician II you will carry out advanced structural repairs and fabrication work on wind-turbine blades. You operate at competency level 3 of the Technician Development Roadmap (TDR), are certified in at least two repair types and train entry-level colleagues (Repair Technician I).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs certified in a minimum of two procedures
• Execute work precisely, on schedule and with full documentation
• Train and mentor colleagues at level I
• Independently read repair drawings and record all required data
• Draft and revise work instructions in line with engineering drawings
• Maintain a 95 % First-Pass-Yield (FPY) rate
• Expert knowledge of basic repairs and materials: epoxy & polyester resins, wet lay-up & vacuum-bag techniques, balsa & foam cores, fiberglass reinforcement
• Safely operate power hand tools
• Comply with quality specs (temperature, humidity)
• Consult engineers and production to resolve machining, assembly or quality issues
• Keep workspaces, machines and tools clean
• Store hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations
• Complete all mandatory training courses

Requirements

• High-school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of composite repair experience
• Demonstrated expertise with fiberglass and composite materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings

Shifts Available

• Yellow: Thu, Fri, Sat & every other Wed, 6 AM–6:30 PM
• Orange: Sun, Mon, Tue & every other Wed, 6 AM–6:30 PM
• Blue: Sun, Mon, Tue & every other Sat, 6 PM–6:30 AM (night)
• Green: Wed, Thu, Fri & every other Sat, 6 PM–6:30 AM (night)

Pay range: USD 32–37/h plus USD 3 night-shift differential
