Platform Engineer (f/m/x)

Enpal is building Europe’s largest renewable-energy community – and we need a resilient, compliant and well-governed Salesforce platform to support that scale. As a Platform Engineer you design, implement and operate exactly these cloud and DevOps landscapes so our software stays secure, scalable and developer-friendly.

Responsibilities

Automation: Take over recurring platform tasks, optimise deployment workflows and reduce manual work through scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Scalable infrastructure: Together with the team you maintain and improve our cloud-native environment (Azure, Kubernetes) while learning how large-scale systems are run.
Developer experience: Treat our platform as an internal product – better documentation, monitoring and self-service tools help teams ship faster.
Continuous improvement: Small but impactful changes increase stability, performance and automation.
Collaboration: Guide developers, operations and security from problem statement to practical platform solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in cloud, DevOps or software roles (incl. relevant projects or internships)
• First hands-on experience with cloud and containers (Azure, Kubernetes or similar)
• Basic knowledge in at least one of: Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, GitOps/ArgoCD, observability
• Scripting or programming skills in Python, TypeScript, C#, etc.
• High willingness to learn and interest in platform engineering, automation and “how to run software better”
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)

Nice-to-have: Backstage or similar developer portals, monitoring/alerting basics, agile ways of working
