A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our global team as a Service Application Engineer and dive into the heart of preventive maintenance for SGT 800 gas turbines. You’ll lead and coordinate technical delivery, set precise inputs for service quotes, and assess potential risks with confidence. As the technical voice in meetings, you’ll represent projects with customers, partners, and colleagues—preparing inspection scopes and following through with data updates after every inspection. You’ll master tools like SAP and PLM2020, serve as the go-to expert between overhauls, and occasionally travel to meet customers face-to-face to discuss maintenance insights. Every day, you’ll work closely with Sales Managers, Customer Contract Managers, Project Managers, and Logistics to keep our turbines running at peak performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare tailored technical scopes for planned inspections of SGT 800 gas turbine units under Long Term Program contracts—spotting opportunities to add value.
• Act as the technical entry point for LTP customers, liaising with engineering on diverse technical topics (excluding 24/7 emergency support).
• Lead, coordinate, and deliver the technical aspects of preventive maintenance, giving clear feedback for service quotes and evaluating risks with other technical experts.
• Represent projects in customer and partner meetings, prepare inspection scopes, offer back-office support during inspections, and update product data afterward.
• Use SAP and PLM2020 to manage data effectively and address technical inquiries from customers and regional teams during planned overhauls.
• Travel to customer sites 1–5 times per year to discuss maintenance activities with customer representatives.

What You Bring

• Strong technical foundation in Gas Turbine Engineering—master’s degree in Control, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with commissioning or installation of SGT 800 turbines is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and share knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers in project environments.
• Interest in process improvement and comfort working across multiple IT systems.
• Organized, driven, open-minded, and detail focused.

About the Team

Our SGT 800 engineering team is expanding to meet the needs of a growing global fleet. We deliver preventive maintenance that keeps turbine operations reliable, available, and fully optimized—earning customer trust worldwide. Here, you’ll gain a full view of the SGT-800, including the core engine and auxiliary systems. Our diverse team of 15 engineers from across the globe collaborates closely, offering input and mentoring to strengthen technical expertise. Ideas and solutions are always discussed openly, ensuring the best possible outcomes before delivery to the customer.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
