Vehicle Procurement Manager

About the Role

As Vehicle Procurement Manager you will negotiate supply agreements with global car manufacturers to accelerate zero-emission mobility. Working from our Weybridge and London offices twice a week, you will convert demand forecasts into purchasing strategies, lead high-value contract negotiations and manage OEM relationships end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own direct procurement for assigned OEMs, securing vehicles, pricing, volume and lead-times that match operational targets
  • Lead commercial negotiations on cost, volume commitments and contract terms while preserving long-term partnerships
  • Act as primary contact for all OEM contractual matters; escalate and resolve supply constraints rapidly
  • Translate Planning-team forecasts into data-driven purchasing strategies
  • Track supplier performance, identify risk and champion continuous improvement
  • Align dealer allocations with OEM supply to guarantee on-time customer deliveries
  • Support the Procurement Director in strategic reviews and Board reporting

What You’ll Need

  • Proven automotive or high-value direct procurement experience; OEM or dealer-network exposure preferred
  • Demonstrated success in complex commercial negotiations delivering cost, volume and service advantages
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable building purchasing plans from demand and market data
  • Excellent stakeholder management—external manufacturers/dealers and internal Operations, Finance and Planning teams
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset that spots supply-chain risk early and acts fast
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and internationally
