Your Day in Brief

As a Quality Engineer you create compressor installation and test plans that meet customer specifications. You analyse customer requirements, develop detailed test and installation concepts and ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and technical parameters.

Your Responsibilities

• Verify that raw-material, semi-finished and machined-part certificates from suppliers conform to company quality standards
• Create quality dossiers; coordinate with cross-functional teams when deviations occur
• Drive process improvement in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams
• Initiate and implement continuous-improvement projects to boost efficiency and shorten cycle times
• Interface with suppliers and project engineers to meet deadlines; high attention to detail
• Record time spent per task and maintain delivery data for monthly quality KPIs

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering
• 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Quality Engineer
• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Familiar with quality certificates, dossiers, material test certificates, EX-ATEX certificates and quality standards
• Proficient in MS Office, PLM (Teamcenter/Globus) and ERP (SAP)
• Strong English communication skills and team spirit
