CREM at SMA stands for strategic planning, design and provision of land and real estate as well as all related equipment to support SMA’s core business. We manage all areas used by SMA at home and abroad, let space and support projects. We operate and maintain our buildings, their technical installations and facilities – including SMA’s own PV systems and EV charging stations – and ensure their availability. Through our CREM services we provide all SMA employees with an optimal working environment. This position is limited to 24 months as parental-leave cover.

Your mission

Project management: Lead construction, conversion and refurbishment projects in office, production and laboratory areas – from needs analysis and planning to commissioning.
Client representation: Represent SMA as the client and be the main contact for external partners and service providers, focusing on quality, cost and schedule.
Coordination: Orchestrate all project stakeholders and interfaces to ensure smooth workflows.
Team leadership: Build, coordinate and lead your project team as equals.
Construction supervision: Monitor execution, carry outacceptance, track costs and check invoices.

Your profile

Completed engineering degree (at least Bachelor’s), preferably in civil engineering, architecture or industrial engineering.
Professional experience in existing-building refurbishment (industrial environment), turnkey construction and project management in a comparable setting.
Knowledge of construction regulations (AHO, HOAI, VOB, etc.).
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project).
Self-reliant, structured approach, assertiveness and strong quality and results orientation.
