Your Day-to-Day

Siemens Energy orchestrates global goods movements; modern IT cuts cost and risk through automated import, export and customs processing. With our customs applications we drive the global customs strategy as digitally as possible. You close regional gaps via low-code apps or Alteryx workflows and manage implementation of customs requirements with our IT partner.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Validate use cases and requirements from the customs business
• Visualize processes and align them with affected functions
• Launch implementation of new use cases in customs applications
• Digitalize and automate manual processes; adapt them regionally
• Gain expertise in low-code platforms (Mendix, Alteryx, Snowflake) and contribute as a citizen developer

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g. business, IT) or comparable customs expertise
• 3+ years customs experience; deeper experience qualifies for senior levels
• Sound understanding of core customs processes
• Ability to analyze processes and derive improvements
• K动作 of foreign-trade data required for customs and its interplay with the global trade-management system
• Fluent English
