Your responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer at Siemens Energy you install and maintain leading gas turbines worldwide. You are responsible for the mechanical assembly/disassembly of steam and gas turbines and their auxiliary systems – from new-unit installation to the service of operating plants.

Execute complex assembly and maintenance work on rotor components and auxiliary systems
Participate in incoming-goods inspections and document all components
Maintain specialist tools, fixtures and measuring equipment
Coordinate closely with project management, supervisors and customers on site
Provide timely progress reports and keep complete records of all work steps
Handle spare parts, service and installation tools as well as consumables

Your profile

Degree in mechanical engineering with focus on power generation or comparable vocational training
At least 5 years of experience in power-plant engineering, manufacturing supervision or mechanical assembly of rotating machinery
Knowledge of gas-turbine assembly processes and auxiliary systems plus ability to read assembly drawings
Strong customer and solution focus, analytical mindset
Fluent English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Willingness to work shifts and weekends and to travel approx. 80 % nationally and internationally
