Service Engineer – Technical Maintenance Services

Join a distributed team dedicated to delivering effective solutions for customers. As part of the global Engineering Support TMS (Total Maintenance Service) team in Taiwan you will monitor customer power-plant operating status and provide timely technical recommendations to ensure stable operation and successful scheduled or forced outages.
How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide technical support for Siemens Energy heavy-duty gas turbines in the region, covering mature (E, F) and advanced (H, HL) frames.
• Act as primary engineering contact for major service projects, operational issues, maintenance-outage preparation and fast outage execution.
• Coordinate global functional teams to generate engineering recommendations for outage planning.
• Lead clearing teams of specialists to resolve on-site problems, shorten outages and share RCA information with Field Service and Project Management.
• Support regional Sales, Field Service and Marketing with technical expertise.
• Present technical solutions in internal and external meetings.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of solid gas- or steam-turbine knowledge; recent graduates with strong engineering background are welcome.
• Fundamental understanding of turbomachinery, materials, manufacturing and repair technologies.
• Good communication skills and international work experience; fluent English (written & oral).
• German or Asian languages (Korean, Japanese) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 30 %) and to work outside regular hours when required.
