Electrical Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Your day at a glance

In our “Transformation of Industry” division we design and service small and medium-sized generators for decentralized power plants. As an Electrical Design Engineer (f/m/d) you will create technical solutions that boost machine performance, efficiency and customer experience.

How you will make an impact

• Perform electrical design of generator components and evaluate overall electrical performance, including electromagnetic and thermal design & analysis
• Execute electrical and thermal sizing calculations, including ventilation, using internal tools
• Contribute to the development of in-house calculation programs and R&D projects
• Provide technical support for quotations / sales and various technical interfaces
• Support production sites and local inspectors, especially in electrical testing of turbogenerators and components
• Assist in developing designs for repair orders

What you bring

• University degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or comparable
• Solid knowledge of electrical machine theory (focus on synchronous machines) desired
• Strong skills in CAE tools
• Experience with AI applications in a business environment welcomed
• Negotiation-level German and English
• Willingness to travel for collaboration with international teams and partners
