Your mission at Climeworks is to own safety, risk assessment and regulatory compliance of chemicals (polymers, sorbents) and related products developed by Climeworks R&D and industrialization teams. This includes overseeing safety data sheets, REACH/TSCA compliance, COSHH, Dangerous Goods, and adherence to other relevant chemical regulations.
You are responsible for ensuring all chemical products comply with relevant local and international regulations.
You conduct regular reviews and updates of SDS and ensure that REACH registrations and submissions are accurate and timely.
You ensure all products are safe for development and use and perform risk assessments for products during development and usage processes.
You collect and maintain all data for products related to regulatory compliance and gather data from R&D, quality, and industrialization teams while maintaining a regulatory database for both internal and external use.
You establish and implement lean processes from R&D through to certification and identify opportunities to eliminate compliance requirements where risks are acceptable.
