Customer Operations Specialist – Electric Vehicles

Role overview
We are looking for an empathetic, phone-confident specialist to serve as the primary contact for drivers on their leasing journey with Octopus Electric Vehicles. You will guide customers from order to return, ensuring every interaction turns potential issues into five-star Trustpilot reviews.

This is a hybrid, permanent role – minimum two days per week in our London or Brighton office.

What you’ll do

• Deliver best-in-class phone support, handling inbound and outbound calls with empathy and efficiency
• Own the end-to-end driver journey, acting as a personal project manager and removing blockers
• Protect and enhance our brand reputation by proactively delighting customers
• Solve logistical challenges such as manufacturer delays or specification changes with fair, creative solutions
• Maintain high service standards during peak periods and constant change

What you’ll need

• Outstanding telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly
• Genuine passion for service and creating memorable experiences
• Resilience in a fast-moving scale-up environment; comfort with ambiguity
• Meticulous attention to detail throughout contracting and delivery
• Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for process improvements
• Knowledge of cars or EVs is advantageous but not essential
