How to contribute to our vision

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely procurement of technical tools, spares, and consumables on an ad-hoc basis. This role demands a quick turnaround and a thorough understanding of technical specifications to meet the immediate needs of our operations.

This position is located in PL-Gdansk and may require occasional travel to supplier locations or project sites. Work is typically performed in an office setting with regular interaction with suppliers and internal teams.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Procurement Operations:
    • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for technical tools, spares, and consumables.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
    • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements for procurement needs.
    • Liaise with technical teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational requirements.
    • Stay informed about market trends and new products that may benefit the company. 
  • Fast-Track & Ad-Hoc Procurement:
    • Handle urgent and ad-hoc procurement requests with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Prioritize tasks to ensure quick turnaround times for critical procurement needs.
    • Implement strategies to streamline fast-track procurement processes.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
    • Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance and reliability.
    • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company standards.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.

What you need to make a difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.

Also:

  • Education in Engineering, Production Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical procurement or strong technical background, preferably in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical understanding of drawings + competence to learn how to read technical specifications    
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus. 
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Teamcenter, or software for reading drawings
  • Knowledge of market trends and supply chain management practices.
  • Proficiency in procurement software.
