How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support customers on-site to identify root causes and propose solutions for high-voltage or switching-related failures.
• Prepare and issue Chinese- and English-language confirmations on the transferability of product properties based on existing test certificates.
• Provide internal departments (bids, sales, engineering) with technical advice on special high-voltage or high-power requirements.
• Assist with testing to determine root causes and propose solutions when high-voltage insulation or switching tests fail.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, focus: high-voltage & insulation technology or high-power apparatus.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of over-voltage types and protection measures (lightning, switching, resonance, etc.).
• Ability to calculate steady-state & transient voltages/currents in HV networks, including short-circuit currents.
• Sound knowledge of dielectric theory: partial discharge, breakdown and flashover in gaseous & solid insulation.
• Advantage: 2+ years HV testing experience at a manufacturer or external HV lab; HV research experience welcome.
