Your Day-to-DayAs Lead Engineer (f/m/d) for Relay Protection & Control (RPC) you design customer-specific RPC solutions for high-voltage AIS and GIS substations. You own the complete RPC system architecture from concept to commissioning and advise customers across the DACH region on the most efficient protection and control systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Analyse customer specifications and develop tailored RPC system concepts
- Create system architectures, schematics, signal lists, protection SLD, cubicle layouts and terminal connection diagrams
- Prepare technical proposals and present solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate interfaces with Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and Cybersecurity
- Parameterise and program protection devices, provide technical supervision during installation, testing and commissioning
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and efficiency
What You Bring- University degree in electrical engineering
- Proven experience with relay protection & control systems for HV substations and power transmission
- Proficiency with protection devices, DIGSI, OMICRON and protection concepts from multiple vendors
- Market insight in secondary technology
- Excellent English and good German skills plus strong presentation ability
