Head of Fleet Management (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

As Head of Fleet Management (m/f/d) you take full technical, commercial and organisational responsibility for our entire vehicle fleet (trucks and cars) at headquarters and in the regions.

• Fleet control: You plan deployment and availability of our fleet at the Töpen headquarters for all sites throughout Germany.
• Maintenance & compliance: You coordinate servicing, repairs and statutory inspections, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Cost & efficiency management: You continuously analyse costs and consumption and derive optimisation measures.
• Driver support & training: You advise drivers, conduct briefings and clarify technical and organisational questions.
• Procurement & claims management: You forecast vehicle demand, manage procurement and handle insurance, damage and accident cases.
• Team leadership: You lead and develop a small fleet team.

Your Profile

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, business administration or similar
• Training aptitude certificate (AdA) advantageous
• Several years of leadership experience in transport or logistics
• Strong organisational talent, strategic thinking, excellent communication and assertiveness
• Proficient in logistics-related IT systems
