Manufacturing Technician Core Finishing 2nd Shift 2 pm–10 pm

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will finish gas-turbine cores with files, ultrasonic machines and sandpaper, patch cores with alumina-based materials per work instructions and log your activities in the Mercury system.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Operate the Mercury system to clock hours and retrieve work instructions; meet daily targets set by team leads
• Start up downdraft booths: switch on lights and dust-collection units
• Inspect parts under magnification; identify defects and verify completion
• Finish core bodies with diamond bits, sandpaper and pneumatic tools; remove tie bars
• Replenish consumables at workstations
• Use hand tools such as wrenches and Allen keys

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery; comfortable with metric measurements
• Ability to read English engineering instructions; mechanical aptitude
• US work authorization without sponsorship
• Willingness to obtain export license per US export-control law; work with controlled technology
