CNC Vertical Boring-Mill Operator (m/w/d) – 3-Shift Operation

We manufacture components for industrial steam turbines, delivering stator and rotor parts on schedule and to the highest quality. With over a century of experience, we have supplied more than 4,240 turbines to 66 countries worldwide. For our Brno site we are looking for a CNC Vertical Boring-Mill Operator (m/w/d) for 3-shift operation.

Your responsibilities:

• Operate CNC vertical boring mills (Ø 1.6 m / 2 m / 2.5 m) with Sinumerik 840D
• Prepare machines and clamp workpieces
• Machine components up to 2,500 mm in diameter
• Modify programmes and write simple operations independently
• Follow technological and operational procedures
• Maintain your workstation
• Work with technical drawings and documentation

Your profile:

• Secondary technical education
• Proven experience operating CNC vertical boring mills
• Skilled in measuring with micrometers, callipers, etc.
• Knowledge of machining tools and cutting parameters
• Understand process plans, read drawings, operate Sinumerik 840D
• Eager to learn, independent, careful, hardworking
• Willing to work 3 shifts
• Experience in load-slinging and crane operation advantageous
