PLM Rollout Expert

A snapshot of your day

As PLM Expert at our brand-new power-transformer factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will drive digital transformation from day one. You will build PLM capabilities with Teamcenter – from the first drawing to market launch.

You work hand-in-hand with local engineering teams and the global PLM program to digitize design processes, connect them with SAP and MES and standardize cross-product workflows. You analyze, optimize and automate engineering processes, take on change-management tasks and secure acceptance of new digital tools through targeted training.

Your contribution

• Build a part-based PLM system; map end-to-end data flows from design to production
• Process & master-data modelling, migration and quality assurance in Teamcenter
• Integration of PLM into SAP ERP and MES for release of manufacturing and order data
• Training, coaching and support of users – from design engineering to production
• Close cooperation with the global PLM program, local IT and engineering teams

Your profile

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• min. 8 years of experience in design, manufacturing or PLM projects
• Hands-on experience in Teamcenter application and rollout; confident handling of CAD data structures
• Experience with process & change management in manufacturing companies
• Understanding of ERP/MES integration, BOM and change processes
• Strong communication skills and passion for digital transformation
• Willingness to work in Charlotte, NC for an extended period; valid US work permit
