Project Manager - Power Transformer Factory Charlotte

Your Day-to-Day

You will manage customer, construction and capital projects for power transformers end-to-end, meeting safety, quality, cost and schedule targets. Based at our new factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will first support the plant ramp-up and, together with a high-performance team, develop processes and offerings for later series operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• End-to-end planning, control and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
• Ensure on-time, on-budget and in-scope project delivery
• Develop and maintain project-management methodologies, tools and templates
• Primary contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Report status, risks and issues regularly to senior management
• Identify and manage project risks and solve emerging conflicts

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience, min. 3 years project-management background, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with global projects and interdisciplinary teams advantageous
• Knowledge of power transformers, construction or business-development projects desirable
• Ability to manage complete project lifecycles from engineering through procurement and manufacturing to shipment
• PMP or IPMA certification beneficial
• Strong communication skills in English
• Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC; must meet U.S. employment authorization requirements
