Quality Specialist (m/f/d) - Vehicle System Integration & Testing

Join us as a Quality Specialist (m/f/d) - Vehicle System Integration & Testing in our Vehicle Integration team on a shared journey that matters!

To make the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service a reality the teams in our Vehicle Integration domain develop the applications and tools needed to enable autonomous passenger management within our MOIA vehicles in a world without a driver: How do passengers authenticate themselves in an autonomous vehicle? How do we ensure a safe cabin during boarding and the ride? Which content should be displayed on the vehicle screens to provide a safe and informative user experience for the passenger?

As our cross-functional and cross-team quality specialist, you will be at the heart of our domain's success, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and alignment between our domain teams:

  • Vehicle Mission: Develops automated vehicle routines across the customer journey
  • Cabin Safety: Provides a real-time video stream of the cabin to the remote service operator and actions to interact with the vehicle
  • Operator Interaction: Builds a platform to inform the passenger about critical incidents and to provide the remote service operator all vehicle details to operate the ridesharing service
  • Vehicle Foundation: Is responsible for updating our vehicle software over-the-air (OTA), ensures security aspects for the teams and builds tooling for rapid feature development

In this role, you unify testing and quality practices across these teams. You’ll work closely with our quality chapter and multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and top-notch quality in our products.

What you will do

System Integration & Coordination

  • Integrate MOIA's software components into HiL setups and vehicles, ensuring seamless operation across various systems.
  • Take responsibility for commissioning and maintaining HiLs and vehicles, ensuring they are ready for continuous testing and development.
  • Act as the central point of contact for integration-related activities, fostering collaboration between different domain teams to align on quality and testing objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with feature teams to design, develop, and implement test cases.
  • Create and enhance automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage across the domain.
  • Execute comprehensive system tests in various environments, including HiL, vehicles, and real-world scenarios.
  • Provide regular updates to the team on test progress, anomalies, risks, and resolutions, and maintain clear and transparent communication.
  • Create detailed documentation for integration processes, testing procedures, and quality standards, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • You have hands-on experience with automotive software/system development, specifically with HiL and vehicle testing.
  • You have strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management, with a track record of working effectively across different teams.
  • You know automotive testing techniques and tools, including Vector CANoe, Linux shell, and other relevant software.
  • You are able to manage multiple project workstreams & their respective releases, ensuring that integration and testing efforts are well-coordinated and delivered on time.
  • You have worked in a functional safety and ASPICE context.
  • You are willing to regularly work hands-on with the vehicles at our Hamburg Hub and travel occasionally to Berlin or Wolfsburg.

We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for the role since we are looking for a diverse range of experiences, skills, and interests. We are certain that there will be something for everyone because we are working on such a variety of tasks and embrace individual growth at MOIA.
