Regional Project Installation & Commissioning Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Regional Project Installation & Commissioning Manager (Project ICM) you coordinate the complete Installation & Commissioning phase from Project Handover to Execution Closure across multiple Middle East projects, based in Abu Dhabi. You ensure customer satisfaction by fulfilling contractual, budgetary and EHS commitments.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead I&C contract negotiations and execution for several Middle East projects, supporting Global Project Managers.
• Monitor offshore fabrication yards (China, Korea) to guarantee equipment readiness on arrival; control I&C budget, schedule and cost forecasts.
• Plan and reserve internal and vendor field-service resources aligned with the I&C schedule; maintain continuous communication with resource providers.
• Secure local permits, visas, sea-passports and ensure compliance with regional Environment, Health & Safety regulations.
• Submit regular I&C status reports to global and regional project teams.
• Chair weekly site-progress meetings and daily site briefings; prepare and coordinate site activities for successful Site Acceptance and Performance Guarantee Tests to achieve PAC sign-off.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering plus 6-8 years supervisory I&C experience with rotating equipment in Oil & Gas, onshore and offshore.
• Hands-on expertise with centrifugal compressors and associated systems: control, anti-surge, anti-pulsation, seal-gas, lube-oil, drivers (steam/gas turbines, e-motor, VFD).
• Proven leadership in delivering I&C activities on time, within budget and material scope.
• Strong cross-regional teamwork and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English; local regional language advantageous.
