Service Engineer (f/m/d) - Gas Turbine Commissioning

Living Our Vision – Your Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer for Gas-Turbine Commissioning you are responsible worldwide for the successful installation and start-up of large gas turbines. You execute cold- and hot-commissioning on turbines and auxiliary systems, perform functional tests and logic-lock checks and support planning and coordination with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager. You record design changes for as-built documentation, detect technical or schedule issues at an early stage and initiate appropriate counter-measures.

You fulfil contractual project requirements, compile detailed daily reports, give recommendations according to specification and ensure that all activities comply with the highest quality, health, safety and environmental standards. The position requires up to 200 travel days per year and active promotion of a zero-harm safety culture on site.

Your Profile

• Bachelor/Master in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering or comparable technical education with 3+ years of experience in commissioning/service of power-plant, oil-&-gas or gas-turbine installations
• Solid understanding of technical documentation, good IT skills (MS Office), team player with proactive, solution-oriented and self-reliant working style
• High willingness to travel (up to 100 %) and business-fluent English; additional languages advantageous
