Join our dynamic Omnivise Ecosystem (OES) team as a Solution Manager (Data Centers), where you will play a pivotal role in integrating software products into valuable solutions for our energy customers. The Omnivise Ecosystem is Siemens Energy’s modular, secure, and data‑driven digital platform that unifies connectivity, platform services, applications, and managed services to rapidly deliver integrated, outcome‑focused solutions for energy transition.

Collaborate with development, product management, sales, and pilot implementation teams in a culture that emphasizes solution orientation, customer‑centricity, transparency, continuous learning, and empowerment. You will lead business development activities by identifying growth opportunities, supporting commercial pursuits, and strengthening customer engagement throughout the sales cycle. You will take charge of solutions from design to delivery, ensuring a clear standardization and scalability plan is developed and implemented.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify customer‑centric use cases, serving as a key interface to customers and regional sales while uncovering new sales and business development opportunities.
• Define the vision, strategy, and success roadmap for data center solutions, transforming products into scalable, ready‑to‑deploy offerings that support commercial growth.
• Contribute to the go‑to‑market approach by supporting offer preparation, sales processes, and proposal development, helping position OES solutions for customer adoption.
• Oversee end‑to‑end solution delivery and lifecycle management, ensuring standardization, strong ROI, and clear sales‑ready documentation that enables business development and sales teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Development teams to refine use cases and align solution enhancements with customer insights and emerging market opportunities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science; or a related field.
• 7+ years of data center operations and/or digital solutions experience.
• Experience supporting business development, pre‑sales, or sales enablement activities.
• Ability to craft value propositions for customer/market needs based on in-depth knowledge of market regulations and customer situations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in building relationships with different customer types (heterogeneous fleet, CCPP, IPPs) across different regions.
• Hands-on experience with fleet SCADA/industrial controls and Asset Performance Management/Analytics in power generation or similar industries.
• Strong communication skills: additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus for customer and internal alignment.
• Flexibility to travel at least 50%.
• Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team  

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
