Team Lead – Packaging Quality

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Team Lead – Packaging Quality you plan, coordinate and deliver air-compressor tests in accordance with Siemens Energy standards and the codes ASME PTC-10 and VDI 2045. You set up and qualify mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, capture test data, analyse results and ensure their compliance with requirements. Selecting appropriate measurement instruments and working closely with project teams to ensure smooth test execution are key parts of the role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collect test data throughout the test run, build and optimise test instrumentation and programme data-acquisition systems for IGC/GV tests
• Create test procedures, evaluate test data and compile precise measurement reports
• Develop, review, test and approve Inspection Test Plans and assembly/testing instructions according to SE standards, client and code requirements
• Coordinate closely with SE-Germany, operate rotating machinery and balance-of-plant equipment, drive continuous process optimisation
• Ensure quality assurance in the IGC test area, perform root-cause analyses and support client audits

What You Bring

• University degree in mechanical or production engineering or equivalent qualification with 10-15 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or Testing Engineering, ideally with IGC product background
• Proven ability to prepare and verify test procedures, assembly records and checklists, strong organisational and documentation skills
• Advanced English skills, customer focus, flexibility in working hours and high willingness to travel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and a decisive, process-focused mindset
