Test Lead Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission

• Lead combustion tests at the Clean Energy Center (Ludwigsfelde) and DLR Cologne
• Prepare and execute tests on gas- and steam-turbine burners using various fuels (natural gas, oil, hydrogen, LPG) for international project teams
• Manage resources and schedules for test rigs and coordinate test personnel
• Adjust daily test schedules and autonomously control required actions
• Support entire test campaigns, including debriefing and continuous process optimisation
• Operate optical flame-monitoring systems and help design safe test procedures

Your profile

• Master’s degree in mechanical, energy engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience with gas turbines, power-plant equipment or maintenance management
• Deep knowledge of combustors, optical measurement systems and complex test projects
• Leadership of interdisciplinary, international teams
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends and long hours according to test schedules
• Excellent German and English skills
