At Siemens Energy we make energy greener, more reliable and affordable. As a Transformer Winder you will manufacture disc or helical coils for large power transformers following technical drawings. You document quality checks, plan workflows against production schedules and work safely to the highest standards. After specialized training in Large Power Transformer manufacturing you will learn additional processes and build unique expertise.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Wind helical and disc coils for large power transformers
• Read technical drawings and prepare required materials
• Operate horizontal/vertical winding machines, cranes and forklifts
• Perform dimensional and quality inspections including tolerance checks
• Complete documentation and quality records
• Comply with EHS, QA and cyber-security requirements

What You Bring

• High-school degree or equivalent technical training/experience
• Strong math skills, ability to read complex drawings and perform precision measurements
• Willingness to pass Keys test, technical English and blueprint-reading course
• Obtain forklift license, critical-lift crane certificate and working-at-heights approval
• Team-orientation in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Additional Requirements

• Pass standard hearing, vision and pulmonary function tests
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Legal US work authorization without sponsorship
• 6-month training assignment in Mexico, Brazil or Germany (relocation & pay provided)
