Manufacturing Technician – Core Finishing (1st Shift 6 am–2 pm)

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will finish gas-turbine cores with files, ultrasonic tools and abrasive paper, patch them with alumina-based material per work instructions, and work at our Gibsonton, Florida site.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate the Mercury system to log hours, pull up work instructions and meet daily targets set by team leads.
  • Start and stop lights and dust-collection in downdraft booths.
  • Inspect parts under magnification for defects and verify work completion.
  • Remove die lines with diamond bits, sandpaper and pneumatic tools; cut tie bars on cores.
  • Replenish stations with required supplies.
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches and Allen keys.

What You Bring

  • High-school diploma or GED.
  • Basic math in metric units and interest in industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read engineering instructions and mechanical aptitude.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • U.S. export-license approval (prerequisite for the role).
