Industrial Time & Motion Analyst (f/m/d) New-unit Turbine Manufacturing

Your mission

In Siemens Energy’s Mülheim plant you optimise cycle times and production processes for new-build turbines, generators and large special machines. Through systematic REFA/MTM time-and-motion studies and process analyses you safeguard on-time delivery and cost-competitiveness from day one.

• Conduct REFA-compliant process and time studies, evaluate results and align with manufacturing, engineering and project management
• Derive standard-time modules for work plans, quotations and cost accounting
• Document work flows, identify waste and drive continuous-improvement initiatives
• Calculate product costs and support Design-to-Cost projects for process and product optimisation
• Ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency of new products already at engineering stage
• Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team of manufacturing, production planning, engineering and order management

Your qualifications

• Degree in engineering, certified technician or master craftsman with experience in mechanical engineering or production planning
• REFA basic certificate; additional REFA/MTM qualifications desirable
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP and ORTIMplan
• Strong analytical and communication skills, high self-initiative, assertiveness and team spirit
• Very good command of German and English, willingness to travel occasionally
