To meet the Paris climate targets, global greenhouse-gas emissions must fall dramatically. Our projects cut CO₂ and advance sustainable development through technology transfer and poverty reduction.

Our team designs proprietary climate-protection projects, tailored concepts and green-energy solutions for large national and international clients—creating value for both climate and customer.

For our Berlin office we are looking for an immediate Project Manager Climate Protection Projects (d/m/w).

Your responsibilities

  • Conception & planning of technical projects and hands-on technical execution (drive construction progress, define targets and measures, manage contractors)
  • Focus areas
    • Global South: scaling renewables, e.g. rural electrification
    • Direct Air Capture: development and construction of DAC pilot plants
  • 1–2 site visits per year (up to 10 days) for construction monitoring and networking
  • Independent contract negotiation and oversight with local partners
  • Ensure CO₂ certification (CDM, Gold Standard, successor mechanisms) and meet time & budget targets
  • Cross-sectional tasks for all climate-protection projects
  • Key-account management of major clients for your project
  • Participate in client tenders, work closely with sales
  • Prepare and actively join client meetings

Your profile

  • Above-average degree in (industrial) engineering, environmental engineering or natural sciences
  • At least 2 years relevant experience with practical technical focus
  • Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
  • High self-initiative and ability to work independently
  • Expertise and commitment in environmental & climate protection
  • Negotiation-level German and English
