Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GoB, commercial, tax and corporate law requirements and accounting under IFRS and HGB
• Contribute to annual and consolidated financial statements; liaise with auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders
• Prepare monthly IFRS closings including operational posting of complex business transactions
• Work closely with international teams (esp. UK) to harmonise group-wide standards and processes
• Drive finance projects: automation, digitalisation, process optimisation and build-up of the internal control system
• Process and document complex metering operations issues in a compliant manner
• Think end-to-end accounting and continuously develop the finance team

Your background

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting within an industrial/energy company
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and HGB and enthusiasm for practical application
• Tech-savvy with a passion for automation (Excel, Power Query, ERP systems)
• Hands-on mentality, team spirit and willingness to take ownership
• Very good command of German and English
• Passion for contributing to a sustainable energy future
