Electrical Site Installation Engineer

If you have a few years of work experience and a passion for top-quality installation processes, you could be the Electrical Site Installation Engineer we need to secure and guide on-site installation of gas-turbine plants for Siemens Energy customers worldwide.

As a certified Electrical Site Installation Engineer you ensure that installation is carried out according to sold specifications. You coach the customer’s local contractor, maintain contact with the customer and the Swedish project team and handle related administrative and logistic tasks. Work covers the gas-turbine unit and associated systems such as acoustic enclosure, ventilation and air intake.

Your main responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive training for role certification – theory and practice in Finspång followed by on-site mentoring.
• Lead and quality-assure electrical installation, verify that processes and directives are followed.
• Inspect and approve completed electrical installations and prepare for hand-over to commissioning.
• Travel internationally for 6–12 weeks at a time, up to 250 travel days per year.

We are looking for someone with:

• Several years of hands-on electrical-installation experience, e.g. as electrician, service technician or fitter in construction, energy or power generation.
• High focus on safety and quality.
• Independent, solution-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Requirements: Swedish or EU citizenship, resident in Sweden and registered in the Swedish social-security system. Health check, credit check and criminal-record extract will be completed before employment.
