IT Inhouse Consultant WMS

The team is responsible for the strategic and operational development of all intralogistics IT systems that secure goods and material-flow processes in our warehouses.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement IT-driven intralogistics processes with a focus on modern warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Advance and optimize warehouse & intralogistics processes for efficiency, sustainability and scalability
• Independently plan and deliver IT projects in a logistics environment
• Provide technical leadership for projects in warehouse logistics, material flow and integration of logistics & automation systems
• Design and implement interfaces to ensure stable system integration

Your profile

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, computer science or comparable qualification with professional experience
• Several years of experience with WMS or IT solutions in logistics
• Strong skills in analysing, designing and optimising intralogistics processes and system integration
• Experience with automated warehouse and material-flow systems and their IT connection
• Desirable: knowledge of ERP or WMS software (e.g. SAP)
• Project management skills and ideally experience with agile methods
• Very good written and spoken German and English
