Level II NDE Technician (3×12 Days, Fri–Sun) with VT, MT, PT, UT (Shearwave), PAUT, ET or RT

Your Area of Responsibility
As a certified Level-II NDE Technician you provide high-precision inspection services in our Siemens Energy Turbine Services facility in Charlotte—both in-process and at final assembly. You ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and work instructions, document results seamlessly in quality-control instructions and maintain all data in the SAP system. Your work safeguards the highest quality standards and supports our goal of generating power with the lowest possible emissions.

Key Tasks

• Perform non-destructive examinations (NDE) during and after manufacture of gas-turbine components in Charlotte
• Hold Level-II certification in at least one of the following methods: VT, MT, PT, UT (Shearwave), PAUT, ET or RT; ET or RT are advantageous
• Demonstrate Siemens Energy Level-II competency through testing and provide certificates and evidence of experience
• Execute critical-to-quality dimensional checks and NDE inspections per specification; record findings on quality control charts and in presentations
• Review and release NDE documentation in the Operating Information Landscape (OIL) and upload inspection reports into the SAP system (QN/SN); work closely with manufacturing and design engineering

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or equivalent; Siemens Career Readiness Certification
• Level-II certification in VT, PT, MT, UT (Shearwave), PAUT, ET or RT; additional ET or RT approval preferred
• Minimum 5 years NDE experience in the power-generation industry
• Willingness to travel occasionally; experience with measuring equipment, drawing interpretation, specifications and work instructions
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work on a 3×12 weekend-days schedule (Fri–Sun)
