You will join the manufacturing process to produce high-quality castings at our Gibsonton, Florida site. Our Gas Services division delivers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation – all gas turbines, steam turbines and generators under one roof.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Operate X-ray equipment in the Core Department; use process knowledge, basic engineering principles, prior experience and creativity to develop and improve manufacturing processes that yield quality castings.
- Read and follow engineering procedures to ensure compliance with approved processes.
- Support plant-wide initiatives to reduce scrap and lower overall casting costs.
- Perform metal rework to eliminate typical surface defects.
- Complete all required manufacturing documentation in Mercury.
- Collaborate on ergonomic and safety improvements in assigned areas.
What You Bring
- High-school diploma or GED.
- Prior manufacturing X-ray or quality/visual-inspection experience preferred.
- Legal authorisation to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorisation.
- This position requires an export licence from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls; issuance of any required licence is a prerequisite. You must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export-control law.
