Test Field Technician (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

At the Erfurt generator plant around 550 employees manufacture large electrical generators, electrical drive machines and rotating grid stabilizers for the global energy supply.

As a Test Field Technician (m/f/d) you will carry out electrical tests on these systems on your own responsibility and with a strong focus on quality, and you will be an integral part of a versatile team.

• Executes and documents electrical tests on generators and machines according to applicable standards
• Provides technical advice to internal departments and explains test results
• Accompanies corrective measures and performs customer acceptance tests
• Maintains and further develops test rigs and measuring equipment
• Optimizes work processes in the test field

Your qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s degree or technician training in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems or Electrical Machines
• Professional experience in electrical testing or measuring technology
• Knowledge of standards and test procedures for electrical machines and of quality assurance systems
• MS-Office skills, ideally complemented by VBA proficiency
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Team spirit, flexibility and high quality standards
